Calculators for Kids



Our story



Calculators for Kids started in 2023 when two students (Prema and Suhana) from Edina Public Schools District in Minnesota were shocked to find that new graphing calculators (which is a must-have for advancing STEM) could cost $100 or more. In developing countries this could be the monthly income of a family.


With support from their parents, they decided to setup this program to reduce electronic waste, re-use calculators that end up in storage boxes and help students who today don’t have access to a graphing calculator because of financial hardship. Please HELP!

Our MISSION



Provide free graphing calculators to high school students who can’t afford them. We collect old but still functional graphing calculators from high school seniors and college graduates. We wipe them clean, replace batteries and find a new home for the calculators.


OUR INSPIRATION

Let us know if you have a graphing calculator to donate. You can start the donation process by sending us your contact information below. Please mention the model number (TI-Nspire, TI-84 Plus or similar).

Donate your old graphing calculators to empower students and fulfill their educational goals. Our goal is to empower more than 200 students by 2025 so that they can achieve higher grades and pursue higher education.
